Multimedia

Ron Richards, of iFanboy, put together an amazing video primer on Noble Causes. So if you're new to the book (or a longtime fan who wants a quick refresher) check out this link.

Plus, Jason Pierce, of the Alter Ego comic book store, had me as a guest on his recent podcast, where I talk about Noble Causes, Dynamo 5, and Gemini. You can listen to the show here.

GEMINI article on CBR

Michael Patrick Sullivan, over at Comic Book Resources, interviewed me about Gemini:

Writer Jay Faerber broke into comics in the late ‘90s alongside the likes of Devin Grayson and Brian K. Vaughn, when all three made a name for themselves writing some of DC and Marvel’s most iconic characters. The three writers even shared a website at one point. Since then, each has gone in a different direction, and Faerber’s path has landed him in the center of his own superhero universe.

New York Comic Con

I'll be attending the New York Comic Con on April 18-20. Dynamo 5 artist Mahmud Asrar will be joining me, as will Noble Causes artist Yildiray Cinar. This will mark the first time I've met either one of these great guys in person! I can't wait!

We won't have a booth or anything, but all three of us will have set signing times at the Image booth. I'll let you know when the schedule's set.

Urban Myths @ CBR

At Wizard World LA this past weekend, Top Cow announced a new slate of books in their "Pilot Season" program scheduled for summer 2008. A project I created and wrote, URBAN MYTHS, is part of the line-up. Here's what Top Cow editor Rob Levin had to say about it:

In New Athens, you have a modern-day world where people still worship Greek Gods and the Gods still meddle in our lives. It's a neo-mythic book about a Private Investigator nicknamed Jack Medusa, who's actually the son of Medusa. He's been forced to wear a metal mask all his life since he inherited mom's curse. It's really about this guy looking for answers and looking for a way to connect with a world that can never truly see him. I believe Jay initially described the book as "Clash of the Titans" meets "Chinatown," and that's fairly fitting. The world is just starting to come alive through Jorge's work, and it's a place I can't wait to see more of.
